Winter in Melbourne can be a pretty bleak time. Not quite Westeros Wall bleak, but near zero temperatures and frequently grey skies can wear down a sunny Aucklander’s spirit.
One cure might be to head to Brighton Beach and surround yourself with the world famous beach huts. Seeing as it’s winter, I never actually saw these huts in use, but tourists come here to take selfies of these quirky structures.
The distant cityscape of Melbourne looks pretty impressive from Brighton. Look at how the clouds loom menacingly though!
What better way to brighton up (hehe…) a grey day with some colourful beach huts?
