[Dubai] The Mighty Burj Khalifa

The tallest building in the world (at least at the time of writing in 2017).

The Burj Khalifa dominates the skyline in Dubai and just looks really cool from whichever angle. I have taken photos of it in the Media City, across the Palm when it looks shorter than the Burj al-Arab, and at different parts of Dubai’s highway while my friends who are hosting us are stuck in traffic (shout out again to Lil One of the Ashes!). Always it looks so inspiring, just piercing up into the sky.

On our last day in Dubai I took half a day out to try and do this building justice. It’s actually really hard to take a proper photo when you are too close because it’s simply too tall! You can get some pretty cool views taking the train, or around South Ridge. Apparently there are some good places to photograph it around Business Bay also, but alas, my legs were killing me as it was after all that walk in my unergonomic desert boots. My friends, it was not a comfortable flight back home that day…
