Auckland celebrates Bastille Day by organising a street fair in Remuera. There were lots of colourful characters, mimes, accordion players and unicyclists. There was a surprising number of red berets being worn (thinking of getting the wife one now actually…). The weather is nice. All in all, it was a very enjoyable vibe to celebrate the birth of the French Republic.
If it weren’t for my strict gym routine I’d be eating a lot of pain au chocolat today.
One of my weaknesses in street photography is that I get a bit nervous (maybe time pressure?) while taking the shot. This ends up with a lot of blurry results. This one is not the sharpest, but I thought that the accordion player was really lovely.
